Why it matters
Music is part
of your brand.
The soundtrack you play shapes how guests feel — and how long they stay. It deserves the same care as your lighting, your menu and your interior.
Curated, not random
Playlists shaped for your venue's atmosphere and clientele — from a slow Sunday breakfast to a packed Friday night. No repeats, no jarring surprises.
Licensed recordings
Consumer streaming accounts aren't licensed for commercial premises. Our platform covers the sound recording; your venue holds its own public-performance licence for the composition.
Scheduled by daypart
Morning coffee, lunchtime buzz, evening energy. Set a weekly schedule once and the sound changes automatically as the day moves on.

Licensing
Licensed recordings, first.
Every track we stream is licensed for commercial use of the recording — no grey areas on the audio itself. Separately, Maltese law requires premises playing music in public to hold their own public performance licence from PRS for Music, which covers the songwriter and composer side of things. We're happy to point you in the right direction if you don't already have one.
Do I still need a music licence if I use YourPlaylist?
Our licensing covers the recordings we stream to you. Separately, under the Malta Copyright Act, any business playing music in public needs its own public performance licence from PRS for Music (regardless of which platform or service is used). This is a standard requirement across almost every country and applies whether music comes from us, a radio, or a personal playlist.
FAQ
Common questions.
Do I still need a music licence if I use YourPlaylist?▼
Our licensing covers the recordings we stream to you. Separately, under the Malta Copyright Act, any business playing music in public needs its own public performance licence from PRS for Music — regardless of which platform or service is used. This is a standard requirement across almost every country and applies whether music comes from us, a radio, or a personal playlist.
What's the difference between the recording licence and the public performance licence?▼
Your platform's licence covers the sound recording — the master audio file being streamed. What it does not cover is the public performance right for the underlying composition: the song, melody and lyrics. In Malta, that is handled by PRS for Music, and business premises need their own licence.
Can you help me set up the right licence for my venue?▼
Absolutely. When we onboard your venue, we'll explain exactly what's covered by YourPlaylist and what's handled separately by PRS for Music, and point you to the right contact if you don't already have a public performance licence.
